Our client, a leading organization in the technology and creative industry, is seeking a PowerPoint Designer to join their team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be part of the Creative Services Department supporting the PowerPoint Design Team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Remote – PST time zone preferred
Pay Rate: $24–$27/hour (W2, bi‑weekly pay)
Requirement: Must be able to demonstrate hands‑on experience building PowerPoint presentations and templates (not just editing slides).
The PowerPoint Design Team is seeking a highly skilled Presentation Designer to create high‑quality PowerPoint templates, slide layouts, and visual systems that support next‑generation AI‑driven design initiatives. This role blends creativity with speed and scalability—producing polished, on‑brand presentations that meet strict accessibility and quality standards. You will collaborate with design leads and innovators to influence how AI interprets visual communication and to help shape emerging presentation design standards used by millions of users.
TypicalDay in the Role
This team develops premium PowerPoint templates, slide systems, and visual assets that elevate user productivity and guide AI models toward clearer, more consistent, and more creative design outcomes. Work involves established brand systems as well as experimental projects that push the boundaries of presentation design.
Key Projects- Developing visual frameworks that influence AI‑driven design behavior
- Supporting innovation projects and exploratory design initiatives
- Refining internal standards, systems, and processes
- Helping users achieve professional-quality results quickly and intuitively
- Design and develop PowerPoint templates, slide layouts, and reusable visual components
- Create polished, on‑brand slides focused on clarity, hierarchy, and functionality
- Support experimental and AI‑driven projects with custom visual assets and styles
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility and inclusivity standards
- Deliver high‑volume design work quickly while maintaining exceptional quality
- Strong foundation in typography, layout, color theory, and composition
- Proven experience designing multi‑page presentations and executive‑level decks
- Ability to translate conceptual ideas into refined, high‑quality visual designs
- Comfortable exploring diverse visual styles, including complex or unconventional layouts
- Familiarity with AI‑driven design tools and emerging creative technologies
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving guidelines and shifting project needs
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to iterate based on feedback
- Associate’s degree in design or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 2–4 years of professional design experience, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint template/presentation creation
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating PowerPoint‑specific work, multi‑page layout design, clear visual hierarchy, and clean, professional presentation design
- Comfort with modern AI tools (image generation, prompt‑based design, AI‑assisted workflows)
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and ability to design clear charts and tables
- Ability to deliver high‑quality work quickly in a fast‑paced, exploratory environment
- Candidates must have hands‑on experience building PowerPoint templates (not just editing slides).
- UX/UI, product, motion, and web designers are not a fit unless they also have deep PowerPoint template experience.
- A portfolio is required for consideration.
