Overview
As the guardians of over 1000 years of iconic national documents, The National Archives’ mission is to collect, secure and provide access to our collection which currently exceeds 17 million documents and expands each year. The Document Services Department is at the heart of this mission, storing and providing access to our ever‑growing collection to a wide range of stakeholders. We are looking for a Staff Reading Room Events Manager who will be a key contributor to The National Archives’ ambition to increase in‑person connections with the collection y will prepare all documents used for public events, exhibitions, filming, education sessions, and VIP visits within The National Archives.
Responsibilities- Prepare documents used for public events, exhibitions, filming, education sessions, and VIP visits.
- Remain calm under pressure and form strong connections with a wide range of stakeholders within the National Archives.
Can‑do attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.

This is a full‑time post. However, requests for part‑time working, flexible working and job share will be considered, taking into account at all times the operational needs of the Department. This role requires on‑site presence and is not suitable for home working.
