You are a fast, hands-on creative with strong visual instincts and a bias for action. You enjoydesigningforvariousformats, learning by doing, and seeing your work live in the real world. This role is about output, variety, and momentum, notjust perfectcase studies.
You’llbe part ofThe Buzz, our Marketing Activationsquad, working closely with colleagues drivingperformancemarketing, CRM,Product &Growth,partner marketing, strategy,people &culture,as well asournetworkteams.
Our Senior Brand & Design Manager will be your closest ally and dotted line report, who sets the brand direction and design systemyou’llhelp bring to life at scale.
This role exists to increase creative speed, flexibility, andexecutionpower across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design a wide range of visual assets , from promotional assets , social content, and presentations to stickers, signage, charger branding, and on-site visuals.
- Create both still and motion content , including lightweight animations, short videos, transitions, and simple motion assets for campaigns and product communication.
- Design and adapt digital-first assets for IONITY’s web and HMI touch points, ensuring brand-consistent UI layouts, and responsive variants; collaborate with product teams on interface and interaction design .
- Support p roduct & g rowth, and network teams with fast, high-quality design execution for launches, t ests , and rollout with the goal to increase customer experience and loyalty.
- Apply and scale our brand design system , translating guidelines and strategy into consistent, on-brand execution across formats and channels.
- Work hands-on with templates and modular systems , helping scale creative output across markets.
- Collaborate closely with activation teams , creating assets optimised for performance, CRM, testing, and data-driven iteration s .
- Manage and use digital assets responsibly , working with our DAM system ( Papirfly ) to access, store, and share brand assets inside and outside IONITY .
- Move fast without losing quality , reacting to briefs, feedback, and changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Mandatory skills & experience
- 1–3 years of experience in visual design, graphic design, motion design, or a related creative role (in-house, agency, freelance, or side projects).
- Strong visual instincts , with a good feeling for layout, typography, colour , and composition.
- Hands-on experience with design tools , including Figma, InDesign, Photoshop (Illustrator and similar tools are a plus).
- Basic experience or strong interest in motion and video creation , using tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar.
- A fast, proactive working style , comfortable handling multiple requests and quick turnarounds.
- Curiosity and ambition , you want to learn, improve, and take on more responsibility over time.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment , where you grow together with us becoming the leading EV ecosystem in Europe.
Nice to have (but not required)
- Experience working with design systems or modular assets .
- Familiarity with digital asset management tools ( Papirfly or similar).
- Interest in products that exist in the physical world , such as mobility, infrastructure, or industrial design.
- A portfolio that shows range, speed, and experimentation , not just polished hero projects .
