RUN Studios is seeking a seasoned Media Solutions Specialist to support our client, one of the world’s most recognized interactive entertainment brands. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact and go‑to expert for end‑to‑end video asset management, processing, and global distribution—ensuring high‑quality content reaches audiences worldwide on time, on spec, and at scale.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, content partner managers, media partners, and high‑profile stakeholders to manage the entire lifecycle of media content—from acquisition, encoding, and approvals to hosting, distribution, and archival support. This position requires both strategic oversight and hands‑on expertise across a wide spectrum of media solutions, engineering workflows, and event communications.
As a Media Solutions Specialist, You Will- Serve as the primary point of contact for all video asset management and distribution requests.
- Manage end‑to‑end video asset workflows including intake, encoding, approvals, hosting, distribution, and archival.
- Coordinate with internal teams, media partners, and vendors to receive, process, and deliver source files using appropriate encoding profiles and hardware.
- Perform quality control and compliance checks to ensure assets meet technical specs, brand standards, ratings, and licensing guidelines.
- Execute light editorial and design edits such as cutdowns, slates, captions, end cards, and format conversions.
- Manage localization and accessibility deliverables including subtitles, SRTs, captions, transcripts, and audio descriptions.
- Oversee secure file transfers and portal management using platforms such as Signiant Media Shuttle and similar tools.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure assets are properly hosted on CDNs and available globally on schedule.
- Track, report, and maintain asset inventories, approvals, and usage rights from delivery through archive or expiration.
- Support workflow optimization, naming conventions, and engineering solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Provide stakeholder communications including status updates, event notifications, downtime alerts, and escalation reporting.
- Onboard new media partners and support event‑based distribution, embargo releases, and emergency or time‑sensitive requests.
- Maintain encoding systems, profiles, and media processing pipelines while ensuring broadcast‑ready audio and video quality.
- 6+ years of experience in video asset management, digital content operations, or broadcast/media production workflows.
- Proficiency with digital asset management (DAM) systems and file transfer tools such as Signiant Media Shuttle, Aspera, or similar platforms.
- Deep knowledge of video formats, codecs, transcoding, and encoding workflows.
- Experience editing and design work in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
- Familiarity with CDN hosting and distribution practices for large‑scale content delivery.
- Strong understanding of licensing, rights management, and ratings compliance.
- Working knowledge of quality control (QC) processes, including specifications, best practices, and brand guidelines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, time‑sensitive requests across channels with minimal supervision.
- Expertise in prioritizing and triaging requests from diverse stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Experience onboarding media partners and optimizing end‑to‑end video workflows.
- Ability to create and maintain accurate asset tracking and reporting for distribution and approvals.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational strength, and process discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams, media partners, and executives.
- Demonstrated success working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
- Confidence serving as a first point of contact for high‑profile stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Production, Digital Asset Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience collaborating with large brands, entertainment companies, or gaming content teams.
