The Videographer and Photographer position plays a pivotal role in the Marketing & Communications Department, supporting the creation of diverse assets, such as photography and videography. The primary function of this position is to provide robust support to Graphic Designers, Communications Specialists, and Marketing Specialists, facilitating a streamlined creative process. A critical component of this position is the cognizance of audience diversity, ensuring that all creative outputs resonate with the varied demographics across all Paul Mueller Company facilities, coworkers, customers, and communities.
The role will leverage both established and emerging techniques, tools, and processes to contribute strategically to the marketing and communication objectives of the organization.
- Active involvement in filming and video production for marketing purposes. Regular photography of diverse subjects like events, equipment, and manufacturing processes. Editing photos and videos using software like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, and After Effects.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for website updates and maintenance. Create photos, videos, banners, etc., on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Consistent support in creating social media assets such as photos, videos, etc.
- Collaborate in designing and distributing internal communications. Involvement in maintaining photo and video assets for digital signage and communication boards within the company.
- Organize and maintain a library of photo and video assets. Provide general administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team.
- Travel, including international travel, up to 10% of the time.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
- Regular, in‑person attendance due to the teamwork and the nature of this position to be onsite to capture photos and video, and due to the personal interactive nature of this position.
- Overtime will be required at times to fulfill project timelines and responsibilities.
- Proficient use of video and photography equipment.
- Proficient knowledge of Photoshop and Premiere Pro, and basic knowledge of creative design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficient in photo and video editing software.
- Proficient in tools and software relevant to creative production, various photography and videography equipment, including drone use.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to take initiative to develop new strategies and outside‑the‑box ideas.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in parallel in a time‑sensitive environment.
- One (1) to three (3) years of prior experience or relevant coursework in photography, videography, communications, multimedia, or electronic arts is required.
- Some post‑secondary education coursework completed or equivalent independent learning preferred.
$22.85 - $34.28 per an hour
Variable Compensation RangeIncentive bonus eligibility up to 12% of gross annual salary base on company performance.

Primarily time will be in a manufacturing environment, with some time spent in a general office environment (computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets, etc.). Most projects will require this position to personally get hands on to implement. Exposure to conditions, such as: dust, fumes, noise and high‑degree varying seasonal temperatures.
