Reconnect Theatres: Tis Scratch – Call Writers

Overview

Reconnect Theatres are looking to showcase excerpts from five pieces of new work for Reconnect’s first scratch night at Reconnect Regal Theatre in Bathgate on 28 March 2026.

This will be an exciting night to showcase new work from a variety of artists and to explore their ideas that are still being developed. For this scratch night, they are looking for five writers to submit excerpts on their new work. These excerpts should be no longer than 15 minutes or 10 pages long and contain no more than six characters.

Apart from that, there is no limit on what the content or the style of these pieces should be.

• Submit excerpts of new work as part of the scratch night
• Excerpts should be no longer than 15 minutes or 10 pages and feature no more than six characters
• Content and style are flexible within the above constraints
