We are looking for a Video Editor with prior experience working on You Tube channels who understands retention, pacing, storytelling, and content structure
.

The core responsibility of this role is editing long-form You Tube videos and short-form content
. In addition, the editor will also design You Tube thumbnails to support better click-through rates. Social media graphics are a bonus, but not required
.

This role is ideal for someone who cares about quality, watches You Tube actively, and understands what keeps viewers engaged.

• Edit long-form You Tube videos with strong pacing and storytelling
• Create short-form vertical clips for You Tube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Tik Tok
• Improve viewer retention through clean cuts, structure, and flow
• Add music, sound effects, and simple transitions where appropriate
• Maintain brand consistency in editing style
• Work closely with the creative team and incorporate feedback

• Design You Tube thumbnails for uploaded videos
• Ensure thumbnails are visually clear, engaging, and aligned with the brand
• Make simple iterations when needed based on feedback

• Experience editing You Tube videos
• Understands retention, pacing, and storytelling
• Can edit both:
• Long-form You Tube videos
• Short-form content (Shorts, Reels, Tik Tok)
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Able to create basic You Tube thumbnails using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused
