Freelance | Remote | Vertical Drama | $3,000–$6,000 per project
We are one of the leading overseas studios specializing in vertical dramas, and we're looking for talented screenwriters to help craft engaging, dialogue-driven scripts for vertical dramas. Projects typically range from 50-70 episodes, with each episode running between 1-2 minutes. Genres focus on stories for female audiences, including but not limited to romance, revenge, fantasy and werewolf-related plots.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop fully scripted vertical drama episodes from supplied concepts
• Craft emotionally resonant, character-driven dialogue
• Collaborate with creative leads to shape tone, pacing, and structure
• Revise based on feedback and editorial direction
Scripts are usually 1–2 minutes per episode and must read like something made for today's global streaming audience.
You're a Fit If You:
• Native or near-native English writing fluency
• Have a background in screenwriting, film, literature, or creative writing (degree preferred)
• Have some understanding of the vertical drama market and popular storytelling trends (preferred)
• Are skilled at crafting natural, compelling dialogue with strong emotional rhythm
• Are confident working from basic prompts, themes, or outlines
• Understand emotional arcs, pacing, and cliffhanger-style structure
• Are familiar with Final Draft
• Understand Hollywood-standard formatting and punchy visual storytelling
• Are collaborative, efficient, and open to creative feedback
• Can meet deadlines reliably and communicate professionally
Compensation:
• $3,000–$6,000 USD per project
• Pricing is based on your skill, creative level, and the actual project scope—not just word count
Work Setup:
• Fully remote, flexible hours
• Script deadlines set by project schedule
To Apply:
Please send:
• Your CV or portfolio
• 1–2 writing samples (preferably screenplay or vertical drama)
• A short note about your experience with screenwriting and storytelling
• A brief statement showing your understanding of the current vertical drama market (e.g. trends, audience appeal, pacing, or structure)

I have samples, but not the degree you are looking for. I got my BA in Political Science. I guess that is a kind of fiction. :
