We’re looking for a Senior B2B Content Writer & Strategist who’s curious, analytical, and excited to work closely with clients to turn complex ideas into powerful content. This role is ideal for a research-minded journalist or strategist who enjoys combining writing, research, data, and client collaboration.
In this role, you will- Write a wide range of B2B content, including thought leadership articles, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and research reports
- Interview subject matter experts and ask thoughtful, strategic questions to surface meaningful insights
- Conduct independent research and weave in credible sources and data
- Help shape content and research strategy for clients, not just execute against briefs
- Contribute to survey-based research projects, including questionnaire development, insight synthesis, and report storylines
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, implications, and executive-level takeaways
- Translate complex technology topics into clear, engaging, business-relevant narratives
- Create content briefs and actively participate in client-facing strategy discussions
- Learn new technologies and industries on an ongoing basis
- Adapt tone and messaging to match each client’s audience with precision
- Suggest and support improvements to editorial processes
- Use AI as a tool to write smarter and faster, without replacing human insight
This is a full-time remote role. Working hours are flexible to an extent, but you ll need solid overlap with Mountain Time (and some Eastern Time).
Because this is a senior, research-driven role, you’ll have a high degree of ownership and autonomy in how work is planned and executed, but will need to ensure deadlines are met, and you’re available to meet with clients and attend internal meetings as needed.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have- 6–8+ years of experience writing long-form content for B2B technology audiences, enterprise tech, or technology-focused journalism
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Experience working directly with clients, including interviews and strategy discussions
- Able to learn new products and industries quickly
- Experience writing research-based content or data-driven content (survey design experience a strong plus, but not required)
- Strong narrative and editorial judgment—ability to structure complex ideas into compelling stories
- Comfort owning projects end-to-end, from research to final delivery
- Comfortable writing in different voices and styles
- Reliable and consistent with deadlines
- Proactive communicator who handles timeline changes transparently
- Collaborative and self-managed - with the ability to balance long-form research projects alongside recurring content
- Background as a journalist, researcher, or content strategist
- Experience writing for B2B tech or enterprise software
- Background in survey design, research, or managing integrated campaigns
- Past agency or freelance experience with multiple clients
