Role OverviewWe are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Specialist Temp to join our growing team. If you have a passion for storytelling, design, and strategy—and an interest in sustainability—this is an opportunity to make an impact while growing your marketing career.
The Marketing Specialist Temp will support content development, digital marketing, and brand initiatives across various platforms. This role is ideal for a creative marketer with strong writing and design skills who is eager to contribute to marketing strategy while gaining deeper exposure to SEO, analytics, and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities- Copywriting:
Write and edit copy for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and web content, ensuring all messaging is consistent with our brand. - Graphic Design & Video Editing:
Create marketing assets, including one-pagers, social media graphics, digital ads, email templates, presentation materials and video editing. - Social Media Management:
Assist in planning and executing social media content, engaging with audiences, and tracking performance. - SEO & Keyword Research:
Support content optimization efforts through basic SEO techniques, keyword research, and metadata enhancements. - Campaign Coordination:
Assist in executing and tracking digital campaigns, promotional initiatives, and brand awareness efforts. - Collaboration & Growth:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute creative ideas, and develop skills to grow into a larger role within the organization.
- Create digital ads for paid campaigns (display, social, native)
- Resize and reformat ads for multiple platforms and specifications
- Adapt existing creative for new audiences, channels, or promotions
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines
- Prepare final assets for upload to ad platforms or handoff to agencies
- Design static and animated social media graphics
- Create platform-specific sized assets (Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Develop story, carousel, and post graphics
- Update social visuals based on performance insights or feedback
- Edit short-form videos for social and digital campaigns
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, and branding to video content
- Resize and format videos for different platforms
- Pull clips from longer videos for repurposing
- Perform basic color correction and audio cleanup
- Support internal teams with branded graphics (sales, HR, events)
- Update presentations, one-pagers, flyers, and fact sheets
- Create event signage, booth graphics, and promotional materials
- Maintain and update brand templates and visual assets
- Ensure consistent branding across all materials
- Monitor and work through graphic requests that come through the Marketing Request Form (company-wide support)
- Draft blog posts based on outlines or subject matter input
- Edit and optimize content for clarity, tone, and brand voice
- Add images, links, CTAs, and basic SEO elements
- Schedule and publish blog posts
- Coordinate blog promotion across email and social channels
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills with copywriting and social media experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as Canva.
- Exposure to SEO, keyword research, and digital marketing best practices.
- Interest in sustainability and contributing to meaningful green initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Hub Spot).
- Video editing or motion graphics experience.
- Professional event planning experience.
- Understanding of B2B marketing or familiarity with the sustainability sector.
