3D Motion Designer to join our team to help bring the Yoto world to life through engaging, playful and beautifully crafted motion.

Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like Brain Bots.

• Design and animate 3D motion graphics that express Yoto’s playful, warm and imaginative brand.
• Create animations for product videos, launch campaigns, social media, website content and presentations.
• Develop concepts, storyboards, style frames, and motion exploration from creative briefs.
• Bring physical products to life through 3D visuals, animation and renders.
• Collaborate with designers, illustrators and copywriters to create cohesive creative work.
• Balance creativity with clarity, making sure animations are accessible and easy to understand.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.

• Strong experience as a 3D motion designer, with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating high quality work
• Proficiency in Cinema4D, Blender or similar 3D software
• Solid experience in After Effects and compositing workflows
• Strong understanding of animation principles, pacing and visual storytelling
• A great eye for design, colour, lighting and composition
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines while pushing creative
• Clear communication and collaborative mindset
• Experience of rendering physical products or consumer electronics
• Knowledge of Redshift, Octane or similar render engine

• Experience with playful, character led or child focussed content
• Familiarity with sound design or audio-led storytelling
• Experience in working in consumer brands, product companies or creative studios

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 based on experience

• Flexibility:
  Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more than this. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between June and August.
