Motion Graphics Designer

Overview

I’m on the lookout for a talented Motion Graphics Designer with an in-depth knowledge of After Effects, a creative with all the component skills to bring it to life, in a way that wows the client, and more importantly, the customer.

You’ll be working within an awesome design team who has wealth of experience across both on and offline marketing collateral. What they don’t have is an experienced and dedicated Motion Graphics Designer.

You’ll come from a conventional design background, with a suitable degree in Design. You’ll have a full understanding of the relationship between typography, images, and graphics. Motion design is everywhere across all screens and media, so we’ll be looking for a truly talented creative who understands cross‑media channels and how best to deliver moving graphic imagery. You’ll be familiar with brand and how to retain its often strict integrity while keeping it dynamic and engaging.

You’ll be the sort of creative that understands the audience and what they expect, able to interpret briefs to deliver the treatment required to engage the customer. You’ll be a storyteller, enhancing the customer journey with intelligently composed animated video to generate trust, desirability and ultimately sales.

We’re looking for a creative with experience of working for luxury brands and lifestyle products, perhaps from within the digital publishing sector or a motion graphics studio. You’ll have a wealth of experience in social distribution of video content too.

You’ll be responsible for all of the Motion Graphics projects. You’ll work alongside a fantastic creative team, capable of collaborative consultation with the wider company, including client services, digital and more.

• Be responsible for all Motion Graphics projects.

• Interpret briefs to deliver engaging, on-brand animated content that supports the customer journey and sales goals.

• Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design
• Highly skilled Motion Graphics Designer and Animator
• Experience of producing Explainer Videos
• Ability to animate logos and brand identities
• Able to produce anything you can imagine
• 2D and 3D
• Broadcast Design
• Highly skilled in After Effects with the ability to use Premier Pro
• Cinema 4D; skills in VR would be a bonus
• Experience with social distribution of video content

This role is a permanent position and not suitable for remote work. The offices are in Essex and could suit someone living in Essex, Suffolk or Hertfordshire.
