We are looking for a committed volunteer Communication Officer to coordinate communication processes and workflows with authors and within the Editorial Board. This is a flexible remote position with room for your own ideas and voice.
As European Relations is a non‑profit organization, all positions are volunteer and unpaid.
Responsibilities- Managing communication around the editorial workflow
- Handling email communications with authors and editors
- Develop communication strategies in coordination with the Editor‑in‑Chief and other team members
- Strong command of English and excellent communication skills
- Practical experience in a coordination, communication, or leadership role within a team or project
- Part‑time availability: 5–10 hours per week (flexible, about 1 hour per day)
- Flexible, fully remote work with a thoughtful, collaborative team of international editors and authors
- Gain more communication and workflow management experience in European affairs and publishing
- Opportunity to make internal communication and the editorial processes more efficient through your own creative ideas
