This is a hybrid contract role for a Broadcaster, based in Manchester with flexibility for remote work. The Broadcaster will host radio or podcast segments, conduct interviews, facilitate discussions, and engage audiences with compelling storytelling. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching content, preparing scripts, coordinating with guests, utilizing multimedia tools, and creating engaging and entertaining experiences for the audience. The role requires flexibility, creative input, and a commitment to delivering impactful stories in alignment with The Whale Mag’s mission.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Broadcasting and Radio Hosting
- Excellent Communication and Entertainment abilities
- Knowledge of or experience in Photography and multimedia creation
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to engage with diverse audiences
- Familiarity with audio and video editing tools
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced media environment
- Previous experience as a radio host, interviewer, or content creator in a similar medium is advantageous
- Strong interest in storytelling, culture, entrepreneurship, and social impact topics
