Inspired by the whale’s symbolic ability to create ripples, The Whale Mag connects individuals, brands, and communities to spark meaningful dialogue and inspire courage.

With its focus on topics like entrepreneurship, creativity, mental health, and leadership, The Whale Mag creates content with a global perspective that fosters trust and impactful connections. Headquartered in the UK, its work resonates internationally, reaching diverse audiences across cultures.

This is a hybrid contract role for a Broadcaster, based in Manchester with flexibility for remote work. The Broadcaster will host radio or podcast segments, conduct interviews, facilitate discussions, and engage audiences with compelling storytelling. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching content, preparing scripts, coordinating with guests, utilizing multimedia tools, and creating engaging and entertaining experiences for the audience. The role requires flexibility, creative input, and a commitment to delivering impactful stories in alignment with The Whale Mag’s mission.

• Strong skills in Broadcasting and Radio Hosting
• Excellent Communication and Entertainment abilities
• Knowledge of or experience in Photography and multimedia creation
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to engage with diverse audiences
• Familiarity with audio and video editing tools
• Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced media environment
• Previous experience as a radio host, interviewer, or content creator in a similar medium is advantageous
• Strong interest in storytelling, culture, entrepreneurship, and social impact topics
