Arts Humanitas 501(c)(3) integrates awe, art, and nature to create transformative experiences that inspire appreciation for nature and climate stewardship. Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid (3 hours a week), volunteer role for an Event Project Manager based in San Francisco, CA, with opportunities for remote work. The Event Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution. Key responsibilities include preparing budgets, managing event logistics, liaising with vendors, overseeing timelines, and ensuring successful event outcomes. The role also involves fostering strong relationships with sponsors, participants, and stakeholders, while ensuring each event aligns with the mission of Arts Humanitas.

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication skills, with proficiency in verbal and written correspondence to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
  • Expertise in Event Planning and Event Management, including coordinating logistics, timelines, and event execution.
  • Proven experience in Budgeting and Budget Management to oversee financial planning and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in technology and event management tools; familiarity with arts and cultural event coordination is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in non-profit or arts organizations is an asset.
