As the Global Senior Director of Creative Services
, you will lead Olympus’s in‑house global creative and content production hub, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of strategic creatives, asset creators, videographers, and photographers.
Operating in a fully global model, the Creative Services team supports all business divisions and regional marketing teams globally, acting as the creative backbone for cross‑channel marketing content.
This role will lead the transformation from a fragmented creative landscape to a centralized, scalable and business 三国 aligned model, ensuring the development of powerful, brand‑consistent visual narratives and the efficient delivery of high‑quality assets to support global and regional marketing initiatives.
We are looking for a highly creative and experienced leader, with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary design teams in an international context.
The target hiring locations for this role are: US (Philadelphia), UK (London/Essex) or Japan (Tokyo) with hybrid remote working possible.
Your responsibilities- Design Leadership
:
Set and uphold the creative vision and quality standards for all global design outputs across campaigns, brand assets, and multimedia content. - People Management
:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~30 designers, art directors, brand managers, and content creators. - Operational Oversightcripting
:
Drive efficiency, resource planning, and workflow optimization to enable scalable production across multiple global markets, incl. by utilization of AI or similar tools. - Strategic Collaboration
:
Partner with Branding, Marketing Comms, Product Management, and Digital teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and alignment with strategic goals. - Creative Direction
:
Act as lead reviewer and sparring partner on key projects, ensuring design excellence and innovation while being hands‑on where necessary. - Governance & Consistency
:
Own and evolve global brand guidelines, ensuring visual coherence across regions, business units, and external agencies. - Quality Control
:
Maintain a rigorous review process to ensure deliverables meet the highest creative and brand standards. - Innovation & Trends
:
Monitor industry developments to continuously evolve the design approach and integrate new creative technologies. - Vendor Management:
Oversee collaborations with external creative partners and production houses as needed. - Leadership Reporting
:
Provide strategic input and reporting regarding team performance, creative KPIs, and budget needs.
- Degree qualified in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in Design
LObject/Creative roles, with at least 5 years of leadership experience. - Excellent leadership and team‑building capabilities; passion for
