The pay range for the co‑op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate’s experience, academic level, and the specific skill set required for the role.
Loblaw has adopted a hybrid work model (a combination of office and remote work). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).
OVERVIEWCalling all fashion students or recent graduates! Joe Fresh is looking for an intern to assist our dynamic design team in the Adults/Childrenwear category. The role will expose you to all areas within Adults/Childrenwear and require adaptability, often working alongside a different designer day to day. You will support day‑to‑day tasks while observing how each designer works through the season collaboratively with senior management and learning key activities such as sourcing, costing exercises and sample fittings.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Be an active participant in all aspects of the design process
- Assist in general concept design as needed
- Research Adults/Childrenwear trends online and build PowerPoint idea decks
- Help the team build Pantone swatch color palettes for design/PD needs
- Support team in fabric swatching
- Assist in sample preparation for key presentations and maintain sample archives
- Assist in preparation for design meetings
- Support in 3D CLO, Illustrator and Photoshop CAD needs
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary fashion design program (or equivalent)
- Extremely detail‑oriented and organized
- Team player in a small, hands‑on team
- Excellent multi‑tasking and time management skills
- Embraces challenge and takes initiative
- Translates direction and instruction well into daily tasks
- Methodical and proficient worker
- Adapts quickly in a fast‑paced environment
- Great communication skills
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge in CLO is an asset
