We are looking for a Senior Digital Designer to join our Creative team on a contract for services basis to take ownership of MORI’s digital design output, with a strong focus on website design, Figma systems and e-commerce experience optimisation.
This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll lead digital projects from concept through to build, line manage and mentor a Digital Designer and collaborate closely with Brand, Growth, E-commerce and Tech teams. Reporting into the Head of Creative, you’ll help ensure MORI’s digital experience is both beautifully crafted and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end design of MORI’s website and landing pages using Figma, from concept through to final handover
- Partner closely with web development to build, test and iterate designs, ensuring high-quality execution
- Drive ongoing e-commerce UI and UX optimisation, balancing brand storytelling with conversion and performance
- Create and maintain Figma design systems, components and templates to support scalability and consistency
- Ensure smooth design-to-development handover with clear documentation
- Lead design for digital campaigns, product launches and sales across web, email and paid/organic social
- Design weekly BAU and campaign emails using Klaviyo
- Create digital assets that support both brand and growth objectives
- Ensure all outputs are on-brand, accurate and delivered on time
- Design and animate where necessary digital and social assets
- Support evolving content needs across organic and performance marketing channels
- Line manage and mentor our Digital Designer, supporting development, quality and output
- Provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback
- Collaborate with Creative, Brand, Growth, E-com & Tech teams to align creative vision with business goals
- Take ownership of planning, prioritisation and delivery across multiple projects
- Act as a digital brand guardian, ensuring consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints
- Help evolve MORI’s digital design aesthetic to keep the brand premium, relevant and engaging
- Proactively explore new tools, techniques and best practices to improve speed, quality and scalability of digital output
- Design degree or equivalent, with 4+ years’ experience in a digital or creative design role
- Strong experience designing websites and landing pages in Figma (essential)
- Experience working within e-commerce or digitally native brands (strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of UI, UX and conversion-led digital design principles
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and motion tools such as After Effects
- Excellent typography, layout and visual design skills
- Experience designing for email, social and digital marketing channels (essential)
- Confidence owning projects from brief through to delivery and optimisation
- Previous experience managing or mentoring designers (preferred)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, collaborative self-starter with strong communication skills
