DescriptionFull‑time reporting position for award‑winning weekly newspaper and online newspaper located in a First Nation community in southern Ontario.
Qualifications- Must be able to work independently.
- Journalism degree/diploma.
- Photography/video an asset.
- Experience working for newspapers an asset.
- Must be able to interview sources cover community events, fact check, adhere to deadlines.
- Multi media skills (both photo and video) Social media able to work independently.
- Able to juggle work hours.
- Must have own transportation.
- Must be able to work nights or occasional weekends if necessary.
