Content Writer; English​/French

Digital media is a necessary part of any business. Mold Busters is seeking a talented and creative content writer to research, write about, and creatively present information on the subject of mold, indoor air quality and a variety of other environmental issues to our audience.

Quality content is what differentiates Mold Busters from our competitors, which is why the Content Writer’s role is so important. The ideal candidate will possess advanced written communication skills in English and/or French, high attention to detail and knowledge of today’s search engine optimization principles.

• Researching topics related to the mold inspection and remediation industry
• Writing clear and concise content for both marketing purposes as well as for educating our readers
• Incorporating specified keywords into copy in a natural and user-friendly way
• Structuring content following established search engine optimization principles
• Generating ideas for new content
• Engaging audiences with interesting and persuasive content in order to gain customers and boost brand awareness
• Proofreading and editing
• Ensuring consistency in style, grammar and tone with existing Mold Busters website
• Superior written communication skills in English and/or French
• Experience with writing online content
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
• Detail-oriented
• Organized, creative and open-minded
• Ability to produce original, quality content quickly and meet tight deadlines
• Samples of work
• Degree in English, Communications or Marketing an asset but not required
