Job Description- Proposal Development :
Create, write, and design high‑quality bid proposals that align with client requirements and company standards. - Content Creation :
Develop persuasive and informative content for bids, including, where applicable executive summaries, case studies, and tailored responses to proposals, tenders and PPQ’s / SQ’s. - Visual Design :
Utilise design software to produce visually appealing and professional proposal documents, incorporating graphics, charts, maps and images. - Presentations :
Aid in the presentation process using PowerPoint and creating printed collateral. - Collaboration :
Working closely with the sales, design and marketing department, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy and coherence. - Flexible approach :
Offering wider support when required to the sales, design and marketing teams. - Quality Assurance :
Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to consultant / client specifications. - Project Management :
Manage multiple bid projects simultaneously, ensuring timely submission and compliance with all deadlines and requirements. - Continuous Improvement :
Seek feedback on submitted bids and continuously refine and improve proposal strategies and processes. - Efficiencies :
Create standardised templates for generic material to ensure consistency across all bids. Research and implement software that will streamline the bid writing / design process. Completing a tender matrix and documenting where to find content for future use.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Sales, Communications, Graphic Design, English, History or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of using AI is advantageous.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
