Writer/ Editor – Epiq

Epiq is seeking a Writer/ Editor who will serve as a primary editor for a multitude of written materials and a source of content creation for our client’s law firm. The ideal candidate must possess a sophisticated understanding of content and audience, exhibit a keen and relentless eye in copyediting and proofreading, and be able to work with lawyers and other internal stakeholders to produce content—spanning client alerts, web pages, fact sheets, brochures, white papers, biographies and more—that reflects the strengths and objectives of all related practices.

• Serve as an editor for marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all types of content.
• Uphold the firm’s marketing style guidelines and bring a reliable tone to all external‑facing materials.
• Collaborate with lawyers, firm leaders and marketing colleagues to determine the rationale behind incoming collateral requests and draft quality content that meets those needs.
• Introduce ideas for sourcing new or leveraging existing content and suggest novel channels for delivering said content to target audiences.
• Contribute to the overall development and implementation of the firm’s digital marketing strategy and operation.

• Bachelor’s degree (journalism preferred).
• 5‑7 years’ relevant experience (journalism or legal industry experience a plus).
• Exceptional writing skills, a firm grasp of grammatical rules and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience engaging directly with senior executives is a definite plus.
• Strong understanding of content best practices for digital marketing channels (e.g., email marketing, SEO, blogs, social media, digital advertising platforms) is also helpful.
• Remote; scheduled hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

The compensation range for this role is $29.00 to $33.65 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s location, skills, experience and qualifications.
