We periodically have projects available for a remote on‑call video editor who will work with our production team to create engaging, high quality videos for tens of thousands of students all ’round the world. These positions can be worked remotely, and are typically scoped for approximately 25–30 hours per week. The remote on‑call video editor must be able to edit course content in Adobe Premiere.

• Work with the production team to edit course videos for Udacity’s global audience.
• Deliver high‑quality, engaging video content within deadline‑driven timelines.
• Manage media assets and maintain organization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adapt to urgent assignments and shift priorities quickly while maintaining quality.
• Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with content creators to refine videos.
• Ensure technical quality and consistency across all video deliverables.

• A strong reel showcasing editing skills and visual storytelling ability.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects.
• Experience animating 2D and 3D animations.
• Strong media management and organizational skills.
• Takes direction well but also has sound editorial judgement.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication.
• Juggles a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while remaining calm, organized, and flexible.
• Possesses solid communication skills and can give and take constructive feedback well.
• Constantly seeks opportunities to develop technical skills, learns well from failure, and isn’t afraid to ask questions.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
