Are you a kick‑ass video editor with a passion for creating stimulating content? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced creative environment where your post‑production skills can shine? If so, we want you to join our team at Perspective Pictures! Perspective Pictures is seeking talented Senior Video Editors, to help create some of the best video content on the planet and build a post production team in Cape Town.

This is a fully remote contractor role (initially), offering flexibility and the chance to work with a dynamic, fast‑growing creative agency.

• Collaborating with multiple remote directors, producers, and other creatives.
• Editing videos that range from branded content to doc‑style films.

• Solid understanding of digital content creation.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Fluent in DaVinci Resolve colour grading workflows.
• Experience with 3D softwares.
• Organized & efficient; confident in handling their own tech setup and backups independently.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritizing appropriately to meet deadlines; able to own projects from brief to delivery.
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio of a mix of content – long‑form, short‑form, social.
• Strong creative and technical storytelling skills, an interest in filmmaking, and a hunger to create some cool sh

• Good experience of quality control and an excellent eye for detail when approving final uploads.
• An interest in new AI tools.
• Up to date with the latest trends within the creative industries.

• Managing post‑production processes from start to finish for assigned projects.
• Liaising and working closely and effectively with various internal agency departments and external agencies or clients.
• Attending and actively contributing to client meetings & edit sessions, when necessary.
• Routine briefings with the team to communicate new projects and developments, and provide updates.
