Project/Construction Manager opportunity at the University of New Mexico. This role involves leading projects from concept through ribbon-cutting and beyond, partnering with architects, contractors, engineers, internal clients, and campus stakeholders to deliver facilities, renovations, and campus improvements.

Conditions of Employment- Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is required.
- Post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check required.
High school diploma or GED; at least 8 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience managing multiple construction or renovation projects from design through construction and closeout
- Experience coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and institutional stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications for constructability, completeness, and code compliance
- Experience administering construction contracts including review of pay applications, change orders, and contractor schedules
- Experience overseeing construction work in occupied facilities and coordinating project impacts such as utility outages and safety considerations
- Experience tracking project budgets, schedules, and cost projections and reporting project status to leadership
