General Superintendent would report to Ft. Lauderdale home office, and cover projects throughout the Tri-County area. The superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a construction site according to project documents and schedule. Their duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.
Responsibilities- Overseeing individual projects to assure compliance with the scope and quality as established by the contract documents
- Enforcement of site cleanliness, safety, health, and substance abuse programs
- Proactively anticipating and solving problems that could delay construction
- Managing the permit and inspection process, physically inspecting projects to monitor progress and compliance with project standards
- Maintaining QC files and updating as-built drawings
- Attending and conducting regularly scheduled progress meetings

Experience:
Minimum 10 years - Minimum 5 years as a lead superintendent, preferred
- Project Experience Requirements:
Lead superintendent on ground up commercial project (minimum 10,000K SF) - Preferred Experience:
Concrete Tilt Wall Construction, Conventional Concrete & CMU Construction - Experience working on a variety of building types and structures
- Has lead projects and project teams from mobilization to final close out of project
- Degree in construction management from 4-year university
