Job Description:

Due to continued company growth, a job opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join one of South Waless leading Civil Engineering Companies, who specialise in the construction of Wind Farms, Sub Stations, and Solar Farms on a permanent basis. This role will play an important part in helping the organisation enhance its procurement and logistics capabilities and management of suppliers.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Contacting and connecting local and nationwide suppliers within the construction industry, obtaining quotations and lead times Placing of purchase orders Identifying potential new suppliers and products Ensuring compliance with company IMS system General management and admin of purchasing documentation Essential Skills Experience in buying within the construction/ civil engineering industry Excellent IT skills Microsoft Excel/ Word etc Ability to work to tight deadlines Effective communication and team working skills Knowledge of construction industry Knowledge of infrastructure and energy works i.e;
