Seaton Construction Group is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day on-site management of industrial and commercial construction projects across the United States. This role is responsible for leading field operations, driving schedules, enforcing safety and quality standards, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
The Traveling Superintendent serves as the on-site leader and primary point of coordination, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities- Provide full on-site supervision of industrial and commercial construction projects.
- Implement and enforce quality control and safety management programs.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Maintain and update the master project schedule, including developing and managing 3-week look-ahead schedules.
- Utilize Procore for document management, RFIs, daily reports, and progress photos.
- Oversee equipment, tooling, and field resource management.
- Lead weekly meetings with owners, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and maintain jobsite documentation.
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain schedule and budget.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial and/or industrial construction.
- Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling and site logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, and Navisworks is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Relevant university degree or diploma is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Extended travel required to oversee projects nationwide; per diem provided while traveling.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and terrain.
Regular sitting, standing, walking, climbing ladders and stairs.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
