Quantity Surveyor

Position: Quantity Surveyor (Permanent)
We are seeking an Experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Civil and Highway contractor on the high-profile Didcot to Culham River Crossing project. This permanent role offers the chance to work on a £150m infrastructure scheme, delivering excellence in cost management and contract administration.

Key Details:

* Project value: £150 million

* Site schedule: 3–4 days on-site per week

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for the project.

* Review contractor valuations, invoices, and variations.

* Provide commercial and contractual advice to the Project/Construction Manager.

* Support procurement, tendering, and subcontractor management processes.

* Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with contract obligations.

* Prepare QS reports and documentation for senior management and clients.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering, highways, or major infrastructure projects.

* Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC, or similar construction contracts.

* Experience working with Tier 1 contractors on multi-million-pound projects.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Relevant QS qualifications (MRICS preferred).
