Overview

Our client is a well-established general contractor based in Warrington, delivering Design & Build projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. They are looking to appoint an Intermediate to Senior Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing growth across a strong pipeline of work.

The role will be split between the office and live sites, with occasional working from home available when required.

Project Details

Sectors:
Hotels, Industrial Units, Commercial Builds (no residential)

Project Values: £1m - £10m

Procurement:
Design & Build / General Construction

Typical workload: 2-3 projects concurrently

Key Responsibilities

Full commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account

Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and cash flows

Procurement and management of subcontract packages

Valuations, variations, and change control

Monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting

Final accounts and commercial close-out

Liaising with site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual requirements

Requirements

Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor

Intermediate to Senior level experience within general construction / D&B

Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

IT literate, with good working knowledge of Excel

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work effectively between office and site environments
