To Apply for this Job Our client's rapidly growing and well-established structural steel erection company in the Nashville metro is looking for an experienced Structural Steel Estimator
. This role would be responsible for estimating structural steel frames for single-story, multi-story, mixed-use commercial and warehouse spaces. This includes pre-construction and planning while working with the operations team to deliver accurate results.

• Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, schedules, and other documentation presented by the client, to accurately prepare and estimate projects. Including alternate and breakdown prices.
• Manage Plans, Addenda, Changes, ASI, and RFI Etc.
• Prepare detail-oriented and accurate estimates & take-offs and estimate prices for any change orders on existing contracts, meeting assigned deadlines. Coordinate with fabricators for bid date changes and scope review & quantities.
• Writing of steel erection bid proposals using Microsoft programs Excel, Word, MS Project, and other estimating programs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret construction drawings, logistics plans, schedules and construction budget information is a must.

• BA in construction management, structural / civil engineering or business, strongly preferred
• 5+ years of commercial structural steel estimating experience
• Ability to read structural & architectural drawings
• CPE (Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus
