This position offers some remote flexibility but requires consistent in-person presence. Remote work is allowed for planning, scheduling, reporting, and coordination tasks. In-office meetings in Johns Creek, GA are required for team collaboration, and regular travel to project sites is necessary to oversee field operations, quality, safety, and progress. Candidates must live locally or be willing to commute to both office and field locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage civil construction and sitework projects from pre-construction through completion.
Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and coordination with vendors and subcontractors.
Maintain professional and consistent communication with clients.
Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and timely execution of project milestones. Forecast and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment resources.
Lead field and remote teams with strong accountability and leadership.
Use construction management software for documentation, tracking, and reporting. Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, vendors, municipalities, and inspectors.
Support business development efforts and help identify opportunities for growth within your project segment.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to operational improvements and company-wide development.
QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, utilities, or site development project management.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong leadership and communication abilities across field, office, and hybrid work environments.
High proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
Experience using construction management platforms such as Procore, Buildertrend, HCSS, or similar tools.
Land development experience is highly preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.
