Construction Quality Control Manager/ Superintendent Compensation: $70,000-$130,000

We're partnered with a leading federal facing GC that is seeking an experienced Superintendent/ Construction Quality Control Manager. This role is well-suited for construction professionals with strong experience in quality control. You will be responsible for direct oversight and review of the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the work flow process. This position in based in Baltimore, MD and future projects will be within a one hour radius of Baltimore.

• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience performing quality control functions on construction projects
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply contract documents, including prime contracts, subcontracts, drawings, and specifications, in support of project execution
• Assist project leadership with the development and implementation of site‑specific quality procedures
• Develop, maintain, and update submittal logs and project‑specific quality control documentation
• Review and evaluate shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project requirements, collaborating with project team members as needed
• Lead and document weekly quality control meetings with field leadership and distribute meeting minutes in accordance with contract requirements
• Prepare daily quality control reports documenting compliant work activities and identifying nonconforming items with recommended corrective actions
• Facilitate preparatory, initial, and follow‑up inspections to ensure clear understanding of quality standards for each definable feature of work
• Confirm that materials delivered to the site match approved submittals, are properly stored and handled, and are suitable for installation
• Coordinate and document inspection, testing, and commissioning activities for building systems
• Perform quality inspections and testing in accordance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, and company best practices

• 5–10 years of construction experience with a general contractor performing general building construction
• Broad knowledge of construction materials, methods, and means of installation
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant quality control experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of additional education
• Completion of USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM‑C) training
• Proficiency with construction‑related software and digital documentation tools
• OSHA 30‑hour certification required
• Working knowledge of EM 385 safety standards
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong verbal communication skills and sound professional judgment
• Ability to perform effectively in fast‑paced or high‑pressure environments
• Willingness and ability to work at remote project locations
• Flexibility to travel or relocate based on project needs
