Quantity Surveyor – Joinery & Interior Fit‑Out

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to manage project budgets and ensure commercial targets are met on high‑profile new build and interior fit‑out projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative specialist contractor.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years’ experience on new build or fit‑out projects, along with a third‑level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a construction‑related discipline. You will be commercially aware, articulate, organised, and proactive, with excellent communication skills.

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within commercial targets.
• Procure subcontractors and agree subcontract conditions.
• Control subcontract packages and manage costs effectively.
• Value and agree the cost of any variations.
• Prepare monthly cost, value, and reconciliation reports for assigned projects.
• Build up costs for each element of work during estimation, identifying labour and material requirements and sourcing quotations where applicable.
• Liaise with purchasing teams for specialist providers.
• Attend internal project hand‑over meetings.
• Provide feedback to the Estimating team regarding tender values versus actual costs.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
• Provide contractual advice to the Project Manager.
• Undertake other duties or projects within your experience and competency.
