Location: Flackwell Heath and Wooburn Green
Join Settle Paradigms Property Team and lead the delivery of major capital works projects across our housing portfolio. From detailed surveys and specifications to tendering and completion, youll manage insurance, disrepair, structural, and large-scale investment works within a £10m shared budget. Ensure compliance with Decent Homes Standards, CDM regulations, and carbon reduction goals while driving cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help us build better homes and stronger communities.
The role is hybrid and you will be required to attend our office in High Wycombe, Bucks for at least 2 days per week plus some site visits and the remainder at home/remote. Together, were building a better future. This is your opportunity to take ownership of major capital works projects , from inception to completion. Youll lead with clarity and professionalism, ensuring efficient delivery of stock investment programmes including roofs, refurbishments, disrepair, insurance, and improvement projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing all aspects of project delivery: design, specification, tendering, installation, and sign-off. Overseeing contract administration, procurement (JCT), health & safety compliance, and CDM 2015 regulations. Building strong partnerships with specialist contractors to deliver high-quality, customer-focused, value-for-money services. Driving innovation through research and adoption of best practices and emerging technologies. Providing monthly updates on delivery, financials, health & safety, and customer satisfaction.
Leading a team to deliver consistent, customer-focused services and achieve stretch targets. What Success Looks Like Effective management of a £10 million annual budget . Meeting and exceeding unit output targets. Optimising surplus value and ensuring top-tier health & safety performance. Delivering projects on time, with minimal delays and maximum customer satisfaction. Demonstrating continuous improvement and value for money.
What Were Looking For Must-haves:
Professional qualification (RICS or similar) and minimum HND in Building Construction or degree in Building Surveying. At least 5 years experience managing large-scale property capital works. Strong contract management skills (JCT), property surveys, and procurement experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commercial awareness, analytical ability, and IT proficiency. Leadership skills to motivate teams and contractors. Health & Safety awareness and a current driving licence.
