PROJECT MANAGER CONSTRUCTION QUALITY

We are looking for a Project Manager or Project Engineer with Solid experience in Construction Quality, Construction Assurance (QA) /Quality Control(QC) for Large industrial or Commercial Projects for a long-term assignment local to Metro Detroit.

Support start-to-finish construction project(s), including installation of building foundation, structural steel, Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP) Systems, and infrastructure

Support the development, implementation, and management of a QA/QC control plans across all phases of the construction project

Attend Project Meetings, create reports, and maintain Quality Related documentation

Inspect and verify the quality of site development, civil work, foundations, structural steel, and MEP systems

Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, industry standards, clients' and manufacturers' requirements, and project specifications

Responsible for filing and maintaining all quality documentation and files

Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to enforce quality standards, provide technical support and guidance, and resolve any issues that may arise on site.

Review and evaluate Construction & MEP drawings, Equipment Layouts, and Installation procedures for completeness and compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

Min 5+ years of Construction Quality (QA/QC) of Industrial and/or Large Commercial Projects

Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Construction Quality Standards

Solid understanding and knowledge of Civil and MEP Systems, including installation, documentation, and commissioning.

Experience working and communicating with Engineering, Contractors, and Trades.

Excellent Communication skills, verbal & written.

Knowledge of MS Office, CAD System(s), Procore, Bluebeam
