Quantity Surveyor (Subcontract Procurement)

This is a permanent, full‑time position in Plymouth (Hybrid – Office & Home Working). Sphere Solutions Ltd are partnering withमा a Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a multi‑million‑pound flagship project. The main function will be subcontract procurement on a high‑profile scheme, providing commercial support across both civils and build elements of the project.

• Procure and manage subcontract packages across civils and build works
• Work closely with commercial and project delivery teams to ensure cost‑effective procurement strategies
• Lead subcontractor negotiations in line with NEC4 Option contracts
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the supply chain
• Provide commercial support throughout the subcontract lifecycle, including variations and final accounts
• Support accurate cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to senior management

• రో proven experience in subcontract procurement within the construction or civil engineering sector
• Strong working knowledge of NEC4 Optionlace contracts
• Background as a Subcontract Buyer or Quantityليا Surveyor with procurement responsibility
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and commercial management skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment across site, office, and home

• Salary up to £68,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
