* Position Summary:

* We are seeking an experienced Sr. Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in North St. Louis. In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising the site and building construction process for entire projects, ensuring all safety protocols are maintained. You'll also have the opportunity to train project superintendents, assist with project purchasing, and approve bids and trade partner invoices.

* Key Responsibilities:

* - Supervise trade contractors and monitor daily work quality.
- Train and mentor project superintendents in field management.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders, architects, and engineers.
- Coordinate material testing and inspections.
- Assist in preparing and updating the project's master schedule.
- Communicate schedule status and forecast future work to trade contractors and the home office.
- Conduct weekly safety and project meetings with thorough documentation.
- Liaise with local utilities for final taps and approvals.
- Supervise laborers and collaborate with the Assistant Superintendent.
- Investigate and recommend new products or trade contractors.
- Obtain the Certificate of Occupancy promptly.
- Create as-built drawings.
- Travel up to 50% as required.

* Qualifications:

* - High school diploma or GED required.
- 10-15 years of experience in multifamily construction in a supervisory role.
- Strong language skills, including the ability to present effectively to diverse groups.
- Proficiency in math, including algebra and geometry.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret various types of instructions.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
- Understanding of civil, architectural, and structural design; general knowledge of MEP design.
- Basic estimating skills and knowledge of local and state building codes.

JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for supervising the site (including maintaining all safety protocols) and building construction process for the entire project. Also may include training of project superintendents, assisting with project purchasing and approval of bids/ proposals as well as monthly trade partner invoices, on occasion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
