Overview
Our client has an opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join them on a permanent opportunity. You will be supporting the continuing growth in London and the Southeast of England, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors.

LocationLondon & Southeast of England. The role offers a mix of site working, home working and office working from the London Offices in Paddington.
Hours & SalaryMonday to Friday, 09:00-17:30. Salary: up to £40,000 depending on experience.
What you'll be doing- Assist with developing detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues.
- Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys & defect analysis).
- Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information.
- Assist with administering building contracts.
- Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, PW work, dilapidations, Access Audits & FRA's).
- Liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external).
- 1-2 years' experience within Building Surveying.
- BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent.
- Ability to establish a good working relationship with Clients and colleagues.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills.
- Good written & verbal communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- A competitive basic salary of up to £40,000.
