Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Construction Manager I, ANS

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, LLP – Works in Sandusky, OH and Norwalk, OH. This is a full‑time mid‑senior level position that blends on‑site and remote work.

• Monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations and environmental documents.
• Perform daily field inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Identify non‑compliant work, take corrective action and report critical issues or delays immediately.
• Manage office staff responsible for record keeping, general correspondence and drafting required reports and deliverables.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedule and overall responsiveness.
• Exercise influence over contractors to maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality and other objectives.
• Manage contractor payment process and recommend adjustments as necessary to manage contractors.
• Ensure safety and health requirements and compliance with applicable regulations and contract provisions for the protection of the public and construction project personnel.
• Ensure all changes and/or modifications are noted on the final plans and perform constructability review of design plans.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with various contractors, entities, clients and regulatory agencies.
• Flexible work location mix of remote, onsite at a client and in an Accenture office or center.
• Work and collaborate in person to build relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.

• B.S. or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or 5‑7 years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain PE Licensure and/or CCM within 24 months.
• 5‑7 years of construction management experience with project experience in water and wastewater facilities, including collection, treatment and distribution systems.
• Physical ability to stand, sit and walk throughout the day; bend, crawl, climb and reach overhead; lift 40 pounds or more; comply with personal protective equipment requirements and endure extreme temperatures, loud noises and fumes on project sites.

• CMIT preferred.
• Designations as an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level 1 or ODOT Prequalified Inspector within the first year of service.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to lead safety, scheduling and contract administration meetings with clients, local agencies and the community.
• Knowledge and experience with construction inspection, surveying, field testing of construction materials and construction office engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high proficiency in MS Office:
  Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
• Ability to work effectively with little or no direct supervision in a fast‑paced environment and manage large complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
