Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join a leading general contractor specializing in large-scale industrial and commercial construction. This is a unique opportunity to work on a major ground-up industrial manufacturing project
, the largest of its kind in the company’s history. The role will begin on-site in Northeastern Ohio and may transition to a long-term home office role in Atlanta, GA at some point down the road. With that, the ideal candidate may be located in either of these areas, or elsewhere, and be open to relocation.

• Lead the full estimating cycle from early conceptual budgets to final bids and subcontractor awards.
• Source and build relationships with subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable project execution.
• Interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Develop detailed cost estimates across all divisions, providing clear breakdowns of labor, materials, and trade partner costs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors to clarify scope and identify value-driven solutions.
• Coordinate across multiple building disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to deliver accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Provide innovative problem-solving for cost, schedule, and constructability challenges.

• 10+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction estimating, with emphasis on large-scale facilities such as automotive, food & beverage, or advanced manufacturing plants.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and cost drivers.
• Proven ability to manage bids from concept through execution with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on experience using estimating and take-off software (Win Est, Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field preferred.
• Master CSI knowledge/experience strongly preferred.
• Track record of success in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability and innovative solutions.
