Overview
Buchlyvie Primary school is looking for a Support for Learning Assistant. The successful candidate will have the necessary skills and competencies to work effectively to support children in school. You will work within a passionate and motivated team to create a stimulating, high quality environment for children. We are looking for someone who is nurturing and creative. You will be highly motivated, with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
ResponsibilitiesThe role involves supporting learning and development for children in school and contributing to a positive, engaging classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues to support children’s needs and to maintain a stimulating setting.
Requirements / QualificationsThe successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. Requirements(Job Details)
This is a part-time, term time permanent post working 15 hours per week - Wednesday to Friday 9.00am until 3.15pm.
Benefits- 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service) Pro-rated for part time roles.
