  • Define and implement sourcing processes in coordination with Operations and Field Office Stakeholders, with clearly documented standard operating procedures.
  • Deliver category savings for respective commodities managed.
  • Support repair emphasis to reduce dependency and volume on material purchases and support aging equipment.
  • Learn from and implement Field Office preferences and weigh alongside a national level support structure.
  • Coordinate with Engineering stakeholders to ensure sourcing processes and “best practices” maintain Otis's service standards.
  • Locate competitive multi-sourcing opportunities for electrical and mechanical components in alignment with engineering recommendations.
  • Clearly communicate Otis’ needs to suppliers and create opportunities for them to improve our sourcing structure; act as Otis's supplier champion for all suppliers in respective commodities managed.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and create catalog offerings through Field Requisition System (FRS).
  • Analyze and forecast demand levels to determine stock vs. catalog opportunities.
  • Seek, negotiate, and enter into supply agreements to benefit dedicated spending with managed suppliers.
  • Maintain alignment with Otis-based third-party affiliates to maintain cohesive strategy.
  • Prepare purchase orders for non-Otis equipment sourced from national and international suppliers; ensure supplier compliance with Otis Terms and Conditions.
  • Ensure supplier PO and price confirmation; use negotiating techniques to obtain the supplier’s best offer.
  • Manage material logistics; ensure on-time deliveries, proper inventory levels, and service rate/performance metrics.
  • Work with OSC's Customer Service, Engineering, UNITEC, and external supplier groups to resolve supply issues promptly and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Identify and execute sourcing opportunities through alternate supplier sources.
  • Manage catalog sourcing & pricing as well as custom competitively sourced projects.
  • Maintain a high service level (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting material to meet internal/external customer needs.
  • Manage suppliers to perform on quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics.
  • Perform timely escalations on issues that arise during centralized sourcing.
  • Compile price proposals, financial reports, and analyses to support price reasonableness, purchase quantity, and strategy; strong analytical skills required.
  • Participate in process improvement activities to improve internal processes for quality and productivity and deploy future state field supply chain goals.
  • Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders and material rejections; manage price increases and identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Resolve invoicing issues.
