The Role

This is a standout opportunity to shape and grow some of the most exciting travel partnerships in the market. As Client Manager, Travel, you’ll play a central role in driving revenue, deepening strategic relationships and unlocking new commercial opportunities across a dynamic portfolio of travel brands.

Working closely with the Client Partner, Travel, you’ll take real ownership - not just supporting accounts, but actively growing them. You’ll lead the development and management of our reader offer partnerships, turning creative ideas into high-performing, revenue-generating activity that delivers genuine value for both clients and Hearst.

From first brief to final delivery, you’ll own the full sales cycle. You’ll interrogate challenges, spot white space, shape smart cross-platform solutions and build compelling, insight-led narratives that cut through. You’ll immerse yourself in your clients’ businesses and the wider travel landscape - understanding market dynamics, audience behaviour and competitive pressures - and translate that knowledge into strategies that drive measurable growth.

Internally, you’ll galvanise teams around your clients’ ambitions, ensuring seamless collaboration and best-in-class execution. Externally, you’ll build trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, confidently navigating negotiations, overcoming challenges and consistently raising the bar.

We’re looking for someone commercially sharp, highly organised and genuinely ambitious - someone who thrives on momentum, takes pride in ownership and is motivated by results. If you’re energised by media, confident in the travel sector and ready to build partnerships that make a real impact, this is a role with visibility, influence and serious growth potential.

Main Duties

Own and grow Travel accounts end to end. Act as the go-to contact for your clients, taking a true 360° approach to account management - from campaign delivery to long-term partnership growth - ensuring exceptional service and measurable value at every stage.

Build powerful relationships. Develop and deepen connections with travel clients directly and via PR and media agencies, earning trusted-partner status by understanding their business, challenges and ambitions inside out.

Drive revenue with intent. Create smart account strategies, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and take clear responsibility for hitting revenue targets - including leading the growth and success of our Reader Offers product.

Run the sales cycle like a pro. Take full ownership of pipeline management through Salesforce and other tools, keeping opportunities moving and data accurate, with zero surprises.

Be the strategic connector. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Portfolio Directors, galvanising internal teams around client objectives and ensuring seamless delivery.

Turn insight into action. Monitor performance, sales metrics and market trends, providing clear reporting and commercial recommendations that unlock new opportunities and strengthen accounts.
