Role Overview

This full‑time Procurement Specialist will work with clients near Birmingham and surrounding areas, travelling to client premises as required. You will provide a fully comprehensive procurement and tendering service directly with educational clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the procurement of contracts across a range of categories including facilities, estates, finance, curriculum, ICT and other projects.
  • Embed best practice, efficiency and effectiveness within procurement processes and decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation.
  • Deliver savings and offer proactive, comprehensive service and advice to all levels of personnel.
  • Manage relationships between the client and diverse suppliers.
  • Report directly to the Procurement Manager.
Person Specification
  • Experience in public sector or education sector procurement.
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Act 2023.
  • Ability to travel regularly and work onsite with clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to excellence in public sector procurement.
