Position: 2026 Canon Insights Summer Internship - Logistics Intern

About the Role

Canon, U. S.

A., Inc. is currently hiring for our 2026 Canon Insights Internship Program. The 10‑week paid internship will run from Monday, June 1, 2026 – Wednesday, August 5, 2026 and will be based at our Melville, New York headquarters.

Work Schedule

Hybrid full‑time schedule: 9 AM – 5 PM, 35‑hour work week. You will be in the office three days a week and have the option to work from home on the remaining two days, unless a specific business need requires in‑office attendance.

What You’ll Do
  • Gain hands‑on experience by working on significant projects that help you learn business skills and contribute to Canon’s goals.
  • Be exposed to world‑class teams and our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and other planned activities.
  • Develop marketable skills for transition into the workforce.
  • Work in a hybrid environment as detailed above.
Core Responsibilities
  • Vendor Compliance Chargeback: review, analyze, dispute and report for major national retail accounts.
  • Leverage analytical skills to identify trends and root causes.
  • Perform data entry and analysis using Google Sheets.
  • Create PowerPoint slides summarizing findings and highlighting opportunities to prevent future chargebacks.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations based on completed reviews.
  • Drive efficiencies across Distribution Centers and enhance customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing 2026 initiatives as timelines are finalized.
  • Support project wrap‑ups and assist with the launch of new projects throughout the year.
  • Assist with group inbox management.
  • Provide internal support while learning how various subdivisions operate as one.
About You
  • Enrolled undergraduate student, currently a junior or entering senior year as of Summer 2026, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree aligned with the department of interest.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar, and Drive).
  • Ability to thrive as a collaborative team player while also working independently with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management majors preferred, with experience or coursework focused on U.S. Domestic Operations.
  • Expertise in Google Sheets, Google Forms, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong time‑management skills.
  • Anticipated hourly rate: $20.00.
