Position Summary

The Sales, Inventory, and Operations (SIOP) Leader is a strategic and results-oriented individual who will champion the organization's Business Planning process. This leader will be responsible for driving alignment across operational functions, ensuring smooth execution of the SIOP cycle and optimizing business performance. The role also calls for leadership in key areas of the process such as Inventory and Cost to Serve.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical with demonstrated skills in multiple data analysis solutions.

Job Duties /Responsibilities

Lead and Manage the SIOP Process:

  • Drive cross-functional planning collaboration with key stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing and Operations.
  • Oversee the entire SIOP cycle, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, cost to serve and financial planning.
  • Ensure timely data collection and analysis of data to inform planning decisions.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process effectiveness.
  • Continuously improve the process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Drive Strategic Alignment:

  • Translate business strategy into actionable plans through the SIOP process.
  • Identify and address risks and opportunities that could impact the business plan.
  • Lead the process to make recommendations for optimizing solutions.
  • Manage change effectively and obtain buy-in from all departments involved in SIOP.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop their IBP expertise.

Ownership of Key functions within the SIOP process

  • Developing and managing inventory report outs on trends, E&O, and scrap.
  • Lead the Cost to Serve process including planning, the cost reduction pipeline, and defining
Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field highly preferred (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business planning or a related function preferred (demand planning, IBP, S&OP, etc.).
  • Experience with John Galt and/or other Planning Systems.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in one or more DB products and/or systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and planning tools (experience with John Galt or specific planning software is a plus).

This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.

Compensation Data

The salary range for this role is $116,020/year - $130,000/year.

The salary range listed is based on market data and internal benchmarks. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
