Effective July 1, 2025, a 3% salary reduction is in place under the Personal Leave Program (PLP), with 5 hours of Personal Leave Credit earned monthly in exchange. This program is subject to change based on union agreements and state budget policy.

Effective January 1, 2026, the Staff Services Analyst classification will be re-titled to Analyst I as part of CalHR generalist consolidation. More information is available through CalHR – Generalist Class Consolidation.

This position is located in Sacramento. Telework eligibility and remote work options may apply per California Government Code Section 14200 and HCD policy. Telework-eligible applicants must reside in California. Headquarters location will be designated based on the selected candidates primary residence.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the incumbent provides professional, quality service and accurate information of average complexity to the public. Responsibilities include accepting, gathering and analyzing investigative data and investigating and resolving complaints in accordance with the Mobile home Residency Law Protection Act (MRLPA).

Other duties may be assigned consistent with the classification.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum requirements are described in the Class Specification for ANALYST I. The position title is ANALYST I with salary ranges as listed above.
