As a Product Manager in Payments - Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences.

With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Establish oneself as the subject‑matter expert in Remote Deposit Capture, translating market dynamics and client needs into actionable strategy
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and multi‑year roadmap that delivers quantifiable customer and commercial outcomes
  • Lead discovery and market research; synthesize insights into problem statements, solution hypotheses, and prioritized requirements
  • Define, monitor, and report key success metrics (e.g., adoption, reliability, risk posture, cost, feature utilization) to inform decision‑making and governance
  • Oversee complex client onboarding and manage escalations to ensure consistent, high‑quality client experiences
  • Coordinate internal and external communications regarding product updates; maintain comprehensive product and system documentation
  • Leads Agile execution in partnership with Technology and Operations, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management
  • Cultivates effective partnerships with Operations, Technology, Implementations, Sales, and Service to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven ability to document and verbally communicate concepts and ideas, including product requirements, in appropriate formats to technology partners as well as all stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities; highly organized and detail‑oriented; able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear, testable technical specifications for engineering teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Deep understanding of receivables and cash application products, markets, and customer needs
  • Familiarity with emerging fintech technologies and receivables industry trends, with a track record of integrating relevant advancements into product strategy
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients, understand their needs, and resolve complex issues efficiently
