Position SummaryRSI is recruiting for a Deputy Director of Business Services who will collaborate with all department directors and functional teams to support all projects with business operations and reporting. The deputy will collaborate and support LMS Human Resources, LMS Finance, LMS Contracts & Procurement, LMS Administrative Support, LMS Learning & Development and manage the workload of report writers to ensure monthly deliverables are met.

Hiring Range: $ to $ per year. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)
Travel: This position is required to travel less than 10% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist the director in ensuring deliverables and financial reports are being submitted by LMS as required by the LM client and the contract.
- Collaborate with Procurement to track and monitor subcontract deliverables as required by the LM client.
- Supports the director in ensuring that subcontracts and procurements are performed in a manner consistent with prime contract flow down requirements and procedures approved by the LM Contracting Officer.
- Aids in the implementation of hiring and personnel practices consistent with existing laws and regulations, as well as corporate policies.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings with the director to enhance effective communication and support for staff.
- Attend regular business meetings with the director with corporate office to discuss and quickly resolve issues.
- Provides support in coordinating and managing contract modifications and Conforming Contract Documents, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives.
- Assists with staffing, development, and review of key management reports such as the technical status report, technical executive summary, CPARS and self‑assessments for various business units.
- Maintain open communication with project managers to ensure optimal support while adhering to policies and procedures.
- Acts as the advocate for the procurement sustainable acquisition team.
- Reviews and recommends approval for procurement actions within defined dollar thresholds in alignment with the director’s guidance.
- Supports the lead in resolving subcontract disputes to avoid litigation by facilitating communication and negotiation.
- Assists in ensuring a compliant Government credit card program through proper oversight and reporting.
